Indonesia Executes Drug Smugglers


Eight convicted drug smugglers have been executed in Indonesia by firing squad. The nation having some of the strictest drug laws in the world are at it again after finding eight people including Australians, Brazilians, a fillipino, Nigerians and an Indonesian guilty of drug offences. They were executed on wednesday morning in the island of Nusakambangan's Besi prison. A filipino woman was however spared at the last minute after a request from the president of the phillipines which gives her the chance to stand a trial.
